Personal Trips (1 of 3)

In the past few years, Erin and I have had the chance to see a number of spots we’d wanted to visit since we were married. My next three posts will share some images and thoughts from a few of those trips.
Our NYC trip was several years ago now, but I wanted to share the image above that I took at the top of the Empire State Building – a panorama made from multiple images stitched together. I made a print from it that hangs on the wall of my office.
The photo is incredibly detailed. Here are two parts of the composite – the Flatiron Building in the foreground and Ellis and Liberty Islands in the distance:


Erin has been in numerous plays and musicals herself, and we went to see three Broadway shows while there. My favorite was Once.
And, of course, I took plenty of 3D photos. You’ll need a viewer to get the full effect here, but the photos themselves are still interesting without one:
